I've been anxiously poking the computer with a stick for the last few days. I gues I'm in a bit of an internet withdrawal- which is not so bad since I'm starting college on Tuesday. Which is... Yikes! Tomorrow! u_u;;. College. And in English. That's a lot to take at the same time but I know I can make it trough. (ahah I sound like the Degrassi opening theme o_O;;) Funny how it never crossed my mind before that I wouldn't understand a word of what the teachers would be saying. I guess English is one of the only thing I'm shamelessly confident about. Yeah. I can say with no false modesty that I know I'm the best in English to come out of my High School. It's crude, but I'm being honnest here. I know many people my age speak perfectly 3 or 4 languages but I don't care because most people my age, here where I was raised and where I went to school, can barely write, much less say, a coherent English sentence. I don't remember feeling more outraged than when I had written these song lyrics on a desk, only to come back next class and see that someone had written next to it that the English wasn't correct. I believe the desk convo went that way:

Other person:"Ton anglais yé meme pa bon Va dont refaire t devoires bitch "

Which would translate to "Yur english iz no g00d Go do yur homwork bitch "

Notice how that person ,whose intellect obviously surpasses mine, replied in French? In Chat slang French?
*sigh* anyway. I got really angry at first and then I just laughed because obviously, who between them or I was right. It's not even as if I had invented that they were lyrics for chrissake.^^;;

*point icon* that's my lovely High School friend Virginie's arm with a ribbon wraped around it. Ginny? Your arm was very elegant at prom ^^

First of all, good luck starting school, that's got to be pretty exciting. Secondly, it's awesome that your going to an English speaking school. That's pretty brave. I didn't catch on for a long time that English was not your first language and that was only when I read a post that was in French. That was my really long way of saying your English is very good. And lastly, good choice of grafity. I like those lyrics too.

I'm pretty self-conscious about my English and I'm always affraid someone is going to ask me "What the heck are you trying to say? O.o". So um thank you ^-^. And yeah, 'Plasticine''s been on repeat for a few weeks, it boosts one's self-confidence. =)
