generaljanuaryfuuuuuuuuuuck! I have to fill this stupid Spanish placement test for college. Thing is I haven't had a single spanish class/conversation in like three years. Not that I'd dare call a class what mindless brainwashing Miss Lydia Abad McKenzie forced on us when we were but wee ones. *shudders* crazy lady.
Imagine 14 years old identity crisis!Fannie sitting in the very fist Spanish class of her young life.
Crazy-looking Lady barges in the room (and when I say crazy-looking I mean Prof Trelawney- crazy looking) and goes:
"Holà à todos y a todas! Soy Senora (wtf my ~ is fucked up won't work properly >.<) McKenzie! Estoy vosotros Espanol professora" Or something like that. Class goes: O_O.
So erm I had to dig up my old Spanish stuff to find out that yes, it was that hard the first time you stupid bitch, why did you forget all of it?
Here goes my "Describe yourself" +/- 100 words text:
Me llamo Fannie. Tengo diecisiete anos. Vivo con mi padre en Quebec. Tengo una hermana. Se llama Laurie y tiene diecinuevoanos. No vivamos juntos, vive con su amigo, Billy. Tengoune negro gato y una blanca perra. Me gusto excribir y leer. No me gusto mi trabajo. Trabajo en un restaurante desde hace dos anos. Quiero estar une ascritora cuando voy a asta màs vieià. Habla Inglés, Francés, un poco Espanol y un poquito Japonés.Me gusto aprender nuevos lenguajes.
I can't remember the preterite and subjunctive tenses T_T Only fucking preterito perfecto. I remember because it's the first thing we saw after the Christmas Hols and I remember Escribir being an exception and its past participal being escrito instead of escribido. ( I think O_o...) But then again I don't want to be put in a very advanced class because I'd hate to struggle with that class. German will be hard enough.
